About the Project
Preserving Democratic Legacy. Inspiring National Renewal.
66 Faces, Voices & Signatures of Democracy is a national documentation and recognition initiative designed to identify, profile, celebrate, and preserve the stories of distinguished Nigerians and institutions whose contributions continue to shape the country's democratic journey and nation-building experience.
More than a recognition platform, it is a living archive of leadership, service, innovation, patriotism, and national impact.
A flagship Nigeria @ 66 initiative
As Nigeria commemorates 66 years of Independence, this landmark national initiative celebrates distinguished individuals and institutions whose leadership, service, innovation, sacrifice, patriotism, and commitment have strengthened democracy and advanced national development.
Documenting the journey
Through compelling stories, legacy conversations, exclusive interviews, impact profiles, and documentary features, the project seeks to preserve the voices and experiences of those helping to shape Nigeria's future.
A living archive
The Democracy Archive will grow into a searchable national record of profiles, interviews, citations, achievements, and historical contributions — spanning 36 states and the FCT across a four-month documentation campaign.
Three pillars of remembrance
Faces honour those who led and served. Voices capture interviews and reflections from influential Nigerians. Signatures preserve personal messages to the nation and future generations — together forming a historic collection of aspirations, lessons, and hope.
